Team Members

Glenn Gelfenbein, MA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founded the Ability Resource Center to provide a special place of healing and empowerment for children and adults with neuro-developmental differences. Over the past 18 years, he has worked with hundreds of children, adults, and their families, helping them live more meaningful and successful lives. He has designed several parent and teen psycho-educational programs, including one that was used in the Juvenile Justice system. In Portland Oregon he co-founded a State Certified Mental Health Clinic, and he is former vice president of the East Bay Learning Disabilities Association.

Jennifer Michalski, the Center's Clinical Coordinator, received her bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University Long Beach. During college she worked as office manger for Shoreline Mental Health in Seal Beach California. She also volunteered her time with Los Angeles Team Works where she was a mentor for at-risk and disadvantaged youth. Currently, she is working on her master's degree in counseling at Saint Mary's College of California in pursuits of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
